HR OFFICER

Job Summary:
Responsible for processing payroll, employee benefits, cash advances, and maintaining HR records to ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations. The HR Officer also manages all facets of human resources, including recruitment, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and legal compliance. The role also covers timekeeping, payroll support, petty cash handling for projects, and coordination with Accounting for audits and statutory contributions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Process accurate payroll for all employees within scheduled timelines.
- Handle employee cash advances, vale requests, and ensure proper documentation.
- Maintain employee records, including attendance, leave credits, and government-mandated benefits.
- Handle end-to-end recruitment, from sourcing, advertising manpower needs, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Assist in orientation, training, and employee engagement activities (events, seminars, and programs).
- Prepare and consolidate reports for SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions.
- Prepare and release admission forms and disciplinary actions (e.g., memos, NTE).
- Monitor and review new labor advisories and ensure compliance with labor laws and DOLE requirements.
- Track and validate employee attendance, absences, tardiness, and overtime.
- Prepare HR-related reports for management as needed.
- Handle project petty cash for site-related expenses, coordinating with Engineering/Technical and Accounting for audit.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned
Interdepartmental Coordination:
- Accounting Department – For payroll funding, reporting, contributions, and audit.
- Department Heads – For employee attendance validation and manpower requirements.
- Management – For policy approval, compliance updates, and disciplinary actions.
- All Departments – For HR support such as recruitment, employee relations, benefits, and cash advances.
- Engineering / Technical Department – For coordination on weekly project budget and manpower support.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of BS Psychology, BS Human Resources, or related courses
- At least 5–10 years of relevant work experience in Human Resources
- Has previously held an HR Officer, Head, or Supervisory-level position
- Experience in Manufacturing and Construction is an advantage
- Well-versed in all facets of HR
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
